Our Mission

After-hours calls are where veterinary practices lose the most. Not just revenue, but the bond you've built with your clients. When they can't reach you at 2 AM, they seek emergency treatment, and 40% never come back.

VetWise solves this by providing licensed RVTs and Veterinarians who answer your phones after hours, assess the situation with clinical judgment, and ensure non-emergency cases come to YOUR practice the next morning.

We're not competing with you. We're protecting the relationship you've built with your clients, and the revenue that comes with it.

What Makes Us Different

Other Platforms

  • Phone systems you still need staff to answer
  • Scheduling software you still handle the calls for
  • AI chatbots with no clinical expertise
  • Consumer apps that compete for your clients

VetWise

  • Licensed RVTs and Veterinarians answering your phones
  • Efficient intake so professionals focus on clinical assessment
  • Your practice's after-hours team (not a third-party service)
  • Revenue protection, not revenue competition

Leadership

Dr. Sharon Quinn - Co-Founder | CEO | Medical Director

Dr. Sharon Quinn

Co-Founder | CEO | Medical Director

Dr. Sharon Quinn is a clinical veterinarian with two decades of experience as a practice owner. She currently owns two companion animal hospitals in the Toronto area, one of which explores the idea of open concept general practice as a means to foster communication and alignment between the veterinary team and pet owner.

She is co-founder and CEO of VetWise, a 24/7/365 virtual veterinary care platform built to strengthen traditional practices, expand access to high-quality care, and support veterinary teams facing increasing demand and workforce shortages. VetWise also provides access to care for animals in remote communities without readily available physical veterinarians.

Dr. Quinn is a strong advocate for thoughtful innovation in veterinary medicine, with a focus on improving sustainability, access to care, and wellbeing across the profession.

Last but certainly not least, she is a proud mother of four children, Michael, Preston, Peyton and Rowan and pet parent to three foster-fail cats. Michael also has deep roots in the veterinary profession, as co-founder of CoVet, the leading AI scribe. The other three are making their way (all too quickly) through high school, so life is busy!

Jeremy Greven

President

Jeremy Greven leads technology and operations at VetWise. He's a proven operator who founded and bootstrapped Prompt Alert, a healthcare communications platform that grew 1,262% before its acquisition by Stericycle in 2014. Jeremy then spent five years as CTO of their billion-dollar communications division, servicing thousands of clients across North America.

Over 15 years in healthcare communications, he solved the same challenge VetWise now addresses for veterinary practices: how to handle after-hours calls without losing patients to competitors. At VetWise, he oversees the telecommunications infrastructure, AI systems, and operational platforms that enable licensed RVTs and Veterinarians to answer your phones as seamlessly as your own staff, building technology that extends clinical teams rather than replacing them.

Outside of work, Jeremy is a proud father of three: Taylor, Alex, and Ben. He's also a devoted pet parent to two dogs who keep life interesting. Oscar, a MaltiPoo with a Napoleon complex, runs the household with an iron paw despite being the size of a football. He runs security for his younger sister Billie, a Llewellin Setter with endless curiosity.

Why Credentials Matter

When a panicked pet owner calls at 2 AM, they need more than algorithmic routing. They need someone who can:

  • Recognize subtle signs of true emergencies vs. cases that can wait
  • Provide reassurance backed by clinical knowledge
  • Ask the right follow-up questions based on symptoms
  • Document clinically relevant information for the next-day appointment
